Redrocks Church

Redrocks Church was already host to 3 campuses in the West Denver metropolitan area, when they decided to open a 4th on the southeast side near Park Meadows Shopping Mall in Lonetree, Colorado. Extensive interior demolition was required to convert a 40,000 s.f. former Fitness Center into their new campus.

Lee Architect provided full design services to convert the building including its former gymnasium into a church that can seat 1,300 in the Worship Center and enables fast easy access to Children’s ministry classrooms and the campus offices. Careful attention was paid to preserving as much of the extensive plumbing and sewer lines as possible in the areas where showers and locker rooms had previously been located. That influenced the plan significantly and resulted in a cost-effective conversion of the space.
